How it Works
Set up a time with Kim, our in-house Landscape Architect, to begin the process.
The Process
- Kim will ask various questions pertaining to the amenities you would like, the overall feeling or style you prefer, and the problems you need to solve. She will also share a full portfolio of completed projects and a reference list if you like.
- At this time she will assess how many hours will be involved in the sitework, meetings and design. She will follow-up with a written proposal for the design fee. The design includes a 24"x 30" color rendered landscape layout and any design oriented construction details, notes, and catalog cuts.
- You will meet to review the design and any revisions you may request will be incorporated.
- Paul will then follow-up with a meeting to present an itemized cost estimate. Every line item on the project is separate along with various material choices in order to allow you to customize your project or phase certain aspects of the job.
- At this time if any further revisions are needed they can be accomodated to suit the budget or aesthetics.
Drobatz and Company Inc. runs only three crews at a time in order to keep the quality control in check. Each crew will work on your project from beginning to end without jumping from your job to another, all with a very qualified foreman. Daily, Paul is on the job site to coordinate the project and communicate with you, making sure the project is timely and perfect.
All of the craftsmen needed to complete your project are Drobatz and Company Inc. in-house employees. Drobatz and Company Inc. is fully licensed with Worker's Compensation and liability insurance. The only subcontractors that may be involved would be a pool contractor and/or electrician. Therefore, the company is not subject to the subcontractors schedule and can keep on task.
Please call or email Kim for an appointment for a complimentary consultation to evaluate your property. To assist in designing your garden, you also have the option of completing the Garden Questionnaire in preparation for your meeting with Kim.
